In the year 2002, Hernando Augusto Román Gómez, being a student of the Professional Technical Program in Computer Analysis and Programming of the School of Administration and Marketing of Quindío, begins the development of the software SAHICO 1.0 «System of Administration of Oncological Clinical Stories» for Oncólogos del Occidente S.A.

In the year 2005 Hernando Augusto Román Gómez, creates in the city of Armenia, Q., the commerce establishment called “Tecnologías del Occidente Colombiano,” with which it is linked to a Parquesoft Quindío “Parque Tecnológico del Software” and attends as an Instituto Nacional de Cancerología  (intern National Institute of Cancerology) in Bogotá DC, Colombia.

In 2006, he started in partnership with Alexander Londoño Valencia the development of software SAHICO 2.0, which is currently installed in thirty-five (35) oncology units throughout the Colombian territory, also graduated as a Systems Engineer of Escuela de Administración y Mercadotecnia del Quindío, in agreement with the Autonomous University of Colombia and establishes a business relationship with the medical information company Mevis of Brazil, to transfer images from the CAT3D planning system to the SAHICO 2.0 software; images used for the three-dimensional planning of radiotherapy treatments in cancer patients.

In 2007 he participated with TOC in the Congress of ALFIM «Latin American Association of Medical Physics» in Cartagena and registered with the National Directorate of Copyrights of Colombia the software SAHICO «System of Administration of Oncological Clinical Histories».

In 2008 he is certified as a structured cabling installer for SIEMON Company and is invited to the company’s facilities in Watertown (CT) the United States.

Between 2008 and 2010 he studied English at the Malvern House School in London, England.

 In 2009, he designed the structured cabling for the Cancer Control Center Ltda., Of the Clinica del Country in Bogotá D.C.

In the year 2010 Participates in the Congress of ACHO «Colombian Association of Hemato-Oncology.» In Armenia, Quindío., Opens its own headquarters, incorporating students from the careers of Systems Engineering, Public Accounting, and Professional Nursing. This year he withdrew from PARQUESOFT Quindío. In 2011, he received training in MOSAIQ software, used for radiotherapy treatments in cancer patients at the facilities of the company Elekta in Sao Paulo, Brazil., He is invited to the MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas, United States. register before the Superintendency of Industry and Commerce of Colombia the brands «TOC®» and «SAHICO®«, in addition, end its partnership with Alexander Londoño Valencia and changes the name of the company to «Technologies Of Colombia – TOC». A name that refers to its worldwide projection.

 In 2012 it registered the company «Technologies Of Colombia – TOC S.A.S.» before the Chamber of Commerce of Armenia, Quindío., Going from being a business establishment as a natural person to a society of simplified shares. In 2013, the company went from being MICROPYME to PYME (SEM), focusing on the development of new technological platforms, the penetration of the market in high-cost health service providers in Colombia.

In 2014, the development of a new product called SIISA “Sistema Integrado de Información en Salud“(Integrated Health Information System) begins, which is developed in Oracle Application Express as a development framework and Oracle 12c Enterprise Edition as a database engine.

In 2015, the company started with the implementation of the ISO 9001: 2015 quality standard and the CMMI Level 3 for Software Development model.

For 2016, the decision is made to attend technology fairs worldwide that allows you to validate your product in other countries, attending the Software and Digital Contents Macrorueda in Toronto (Canada), Hospitalar in Sao Paulo (Brazil) and the UK IT Mission in London (United Kingdom), the latter being the city selected to enter in 2019 with the support of the British Embassy.

In 2017 the company is certified in CMMI Level 3 for Software Development.

In 2018, the company launched its new SIISA product «Integrated Health Information System» with the new SaaS business model (Software as a Service) and was certified in ISO 9001: 2015.
